Musik ist eines der schönsten Dinge auf der Welt. Sie lässt einen Träumen, wirkt inspirierend oder lässt einen Tanzen. Darüber hinaus ist sie zweifelsohne ein Ventil der eigenen Gefühle. Ein Medium um das innere nach außen zu richten. Ein Mittel das einem hilft negative Gefühle zu verarbeiten. Und das Beste: Sie verbindet Menschen jedweger Kultur und lässt somit äußere Grenzen verschwinden lassen. 

Ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel ist die Freundschaft und das musikalische Zusammenspiel zwischen der Mexikanerin R3NATA und der Freiburgerin Marie Theresia von Eberg. Für KennreInnen der Szene mit Sicherheit keine Unbekannten mehr. Schließlich sind beide sehr gefragt, wie ihre Reisen innerhalb und außerhalb der Republik belegen. Kein Wunder, schließlich gehört ihr Sound definitiv zu dieser Stile, welches wir gerne in Clubs oder Festival hören möchten. Aber mal ehrlich, wer kann bei diesem bouncy, bassigen und verspielten Klängen schon ruhig sitzen bleiben? Wir mit Sicherheit nicht. 
Also, lasst uns entgegen des Aufrufes am Anfang des Mixes doch einfach ein Wohnzimmertänzchen wagen 😊 

Der Mix nimmt nämlich direkt nach dem Intro erstmal richtig Fahrt auf und schiebt ohne Umwege eindrucksvoll an. Ein Banger-Track folgt dem anderen. Dazu technisch sehr fluide gemixt, welches noch einmal die konstant hohe Energie von einem zum anderen Lied mühelos transportiert. Hier und da streuen die beiden aber auch melodische und verträumte Passagen mit ein und runden das Ganze mit diesem atmosphärischen Closing-Track am Ende harmonisch ab. Eskalieren können wir schließlich immer noch auf dem Dancefloor.

• Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein musikalischer Hintergrund?

R3NATA: Zählt das Schlagzeugspielen in der High School?

Marie: Ja, zählt :). Bei mir haben 10 Jahren Geigenunterricht für das Mitwirken im Schulorchester auf jeden Fall dazu geführt, dass ich mich viele Jahre nicht getraut habe, musikalisch wieder selbst aktiv zu werden. I did not like it”!

• Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

R3NATA: Nette Leute, Freunde, gemütliche Clubs und alles unter 103bpm :p

Marie: Das, was Renata sagt, aber vor allem auch die Fähigkeit aller Beteiligten, nach Hause zu gehen, wenn es reicht.

• Welche Gedanken mögt ihr uns zu eurem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

R3NATA: Ich liebs, dass wir die Tracks des jeweils anderen lieben.

Marie: Der Austausch für diesen Podcast mit Renata war sehr inspirierend für mich, weil ich viele der Produzenten ihrer Tracks vorher nicht kannte und so ein Mix entstanden ist, den ich so nie alleine gestaltet hätte und trotzdem zu 100 Prozent liebe. DANKE!

Es ist endlich so weit - das erste Set meiner neuen Reihe Flügelschläge ist aufgenommen und hochgeladen!
Flügelschläge ist gedacht als eine (womöglich monatliche?) Reihe, in der ich mir einen Rahmen schaffe, innerhalb dessen ich mich kreativ mit verschiedenen Genres, Tempi und Tracks austoben, weiterentwickeln und ab und an auch die ein oder andere Message einbauen kann. 
Ich bin gespannt, was ihr sagt und freue mich sehr über Feedback❤️

Das erste Set beginnt mit folgenden Worten:

Danke @onixcr, dass du Di Caprios Worte genommen und in diesen wundervollen Track eingebaut hast. Ich kann mich dem nur anschließen. Individuumszentrierte Konsumkritik wird uns am Ende nicht weiterhelfen. Staaten und Konzerne müssen sich endlich ihrer (historischen) Verantwortung bewusst werden und Konsequenzen daraus ziehen - bspw. sich anteilig an der notwendigen Transformation unserer Lebensverhältnisse beteiligen.

The time has finally come - the first set of my new series Flügelschläge has been recorded and uploaded!
Flügelschläge is meant to be a (possibly monthly?) series in which I create a framework within which I can get creative with different genres, tempos and tracks, develop them further and occasionally include a message or two. 
I'm curious to hear what you all say and I'm very happy about Feedback❤️.

The first set starts with the following words:
"This disaster has grown beyond the choices that individuals make. This is now about our industries, and governments around the world taking decisive, large-scale action." 
Thank you @onixcr for taking Di Caprio's words and incorporating them into this wonderful track. I couldn't agree more. Individual-centric critiques of consumption will not help us in the end. States and corporations must finally become aware of their (historical) responsibility and draw consequences from it - e.g. participate proportionally in the necessary transformation of our living conditions.

Versetzt euch in das Zeitalter der Entdeckungen ⛵️ 

Euer Schiff hat nach langer, entbehrungsreicher Seefahrt inkl. Nazaré-like Wellengängen und zehrenden Skorbutausbrüchen endlich die Küste einer unbekannten Insel erreicht 🏝

Catan soll sie heißen! Doch ihr seid nicht die einzigen Entdecker:innen. Auch andere unerschrockene Seefahrer:innen haben ihre Anker vor der Küste Catans geworfen ⚓️ 

Nachdem ihr euch mit geschärften Machetenklingen durch den dichten Dschungel geschlagen habt, lichtet sich das Dickicht und ihr trefft auf den Stamm der @Gluecksstraehne, der die Insel schon seit geraumer Zheit belagert. Ihr weibliches Oberhaupt: @zhta von Catan 👑

Gemeinsam mit der Revolutuonsführerin Ginger dem Chicken 🐥 betanzt und bezhingt die Monarchin von Catan Tag ein Nacht aus ihre Inselherrschaft. Nach und nach unterwarfen sich der Ziehtanerin weitere beflügelte Wesen. Schnell waren das Inselmanifest der Rausch- und Rudelfamilie verabschiedet 📜

§1 Women rule.
§2 Erdinger Alkoholfrei ist Kulturgut. 
§3 Wenn Rührei, dann nur aus Bio-Freilandhaltung.
§4 Die alleinige Landesprache ist Slowtechepathie.

Diese Art der nonverbalen Kommunikation via druckigem Bouncesound konntet ihr auf eurer Expedition in Catan heimlich via Telegram Sprachnachricht recorden und per edgy inet an den Fiasco e.V. faxen 📠l

Somit steht das Basskarltheater #008 exemplarisch für die eigenartige Kommunikationsform der People of Catania. Eine Weltsensation, die fortan als Open Source Weiterbildungsangebot dienen soll, welches jedoch mit Vorsicht genossen werden muss 😯

Denn einmal in den betörenden Genuss der catanischen Clänge gekommen, beginnt jede Zelle eures Körpers eine tiefe Verbundenheit mit den fernen Inselbewohner:innen zu verspüren. Ihr seid dann eine:r von ihnen und habt euch an die catanischen Grundsätze zu halten 👹

Unser Tipp: Leistet lieber Folge und seid stets stramm, aber legt euch nicht mit ZHTA an ☝🏼

The two artists Bianco&Schlemann take us on their favourite afterhours today without any detours and have a series of great tracks and moods on board. You can expect a marvellous smorgasbord of different subgenres of electronic dance music, paired with lively lightness and oppressive depth. Everything is wonderfully mixed and in 100 per cent downtempo mode. Either way, their podcast basically reflects the two artists from a sociological point of view. But they explain this in our well-known interview.

✔️ What are your musical Influences?
It all started with raves in the forest, followed by his first experiences with his own official events in smaller Frankfurt clubs and the launch of the Cabinet of Curiosities at Atelierfrankfurt and many, many wild afterhours.
While Bianco's origins lie in house / downtempo and thus in a more melodic sound, Schlemann began with straight techno. Bianco & Schlemann's sound clearly shows this mixture with bouncy but partly dreamy vibes!

✔️ What do you think makes a good afterhour?
Is it over yet? Is it really over already???
New momentum - which brings with it a very special atmosphere. Hard to describe and yet you probably know what it means... don't you?

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?
We hope the mood we felt while playing the set comes through in the mix - there are certainly some of our ‘afterhour favourite tracks’ included. You could always add one more, just can't find an end, because you don't want this wonderful, sociable time to come to an end. (Really, really over already?!)

It’s the kind of track you’d expect to hear at sunrise on a Tulum beach or tucked deep into a Berlin after-hours set.
