Originally disappointed by the lack of Hydrocity - or at least any Sonic 3 level - in Sonic Generations, I devised this remix. Included elements from the original tune like most of the Classic remixes of classic era tunes (for example in this, the brass, bass, organ and percussion), while modifying them (i.e. making the bass sound a little more wet than the original for the first half of the song).

A few days ago I discovered that Hydrocity is in the game as an unlockable track. I listened to it and... meh. Sounds like they put less effort into it than they did the main tracks, but hey, at least it's in there somewhere.

Continuing on with the fiction videogame soundtrack, Interstellar City. Like Oasis Titan, you might remember I originally uploaded this with the Super Mario Kart soundfont as Toad City. Anyway, this would have been for a bonus round between levels, sorta like Andy Asteroids in Earthworm Jim, where you just speed along through, well, an interstellar highway to the next stage. Made in Logic Express 9.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - Circuit Theme (SMK Arrange)

I've made a few SNES remixes of Mario Kart tunes in the past. This one I made today is the only one I'm truly pleased with.

Remix made in Logic Express 9... then exported over to FL Studio as a MIDI, where I applied the Super Mario Kart soundfont... then exported back to Logic Express, where I applied reverb. Yeah, overly complexed, but that's one of the soundfonts that doesn't seem to work properly with Logic. Maybe I'm an idiot and doing something wrong?

Mario Kart 7 - Rainbow Road (Super Mario Kart Remix)

How I imagine Super Mario Kart's Rainbow Road would have sounded in Mario Kart 64 and/or Double Dash!!. There's an additional section in this remake, so that the loop is a similar length as the loops for the later themes of Rainbow Road.
