Michael Bibi debut's on Electronique bringing us his Sweepstake EP very much keeping with our ethos of pushing new and exciting talents this young London based DJ / Producer manages to fuse a plethora of different styles across all 3 original cuts.

Lead track Sweepstake is a slice of chunky grinding techno which is then expertly remixed into a dark pumping groover by Mobilee and Leftroom stalwart Geddes who adds his fresh touch with deep piano's and atmospheric stabs really turning the original on it's head, 

Next up is the bouncy percussion led Jack Begins spot the cheeky sample in that one! before changing the mood of the whole EP completely to finish with Das Is Forboden haunting vocals and a laid back guitar laden groove perfect for those early sunrise or late sunset moments.

Our journey into space continues, and for the 26th release, we give the controls of our mothership to the Supernova. The Italian veterans have made house music a way of life, landing on labels like Defected, Moon Harbour, and 8Bit, not to mention their Lapsus Music. Now, they make their Bamboleo debut with 'Dance On The Moon' EP, served with a remix by Hungarian master Reelow. On the lead, the Florence-based pairs deliver a solid and rumbling original with all the craziness that has accompanied them for over two decades for a gnarly house anthem with a fat bassline, bold drum patterns, and dubby stabs throughout. Next, 'More Than Just A Record' dives into more minimal and deep territories with fast-skipping grooves, funky synths, and jackin bass tones for the perfect blend of raw energy and joyful vibes. Closing things off, Solid Grooves affiliate and Reecords label boss Reelow reworks the main track with his trademark harsh and twisted touch. His remix of 'Dance On The Moon' relies on elastic percussions, slippery splashes of hip-hop sounds, SCI-FI sounds, and edgy grooves for a banging interpretation that allows us to land on the moon safely.

Oliver Thomas, another legend from the UK that came stomping into the Hood Politics family with class. We signed these tracks months ago knowing they would do some serious damage on this spring and boy are we  ecstatic to finally welcome Oliver to the label and to share this EP with you all.

Oliver blessed us with three tracks to pin point his style and presence in the scene, and what do they tell us? Deep grooves, sophisticated drums and percussion, and street certified vocal cuts - this kid is on a level that most strive to be on. All three productions are immaculate, each one dipping into the styles that represent both Oliver and our label seamlessly. From upbeat tech, to dark grooves and back to the deep set rollers that we know and love, this release is one to keep an eye on.

To round out this dangerous EP, UK heavyweight Aiden Francis makes his first appearance on the label with a stellar remix. Aiden delivers an upbeat funky, acid induced house track with a solid disco vibe perfect for transitioning any set to that next level. Homie killed it!

Route 94’s latest musical offering ‘Close’ illustrates his dedication to his craft and ever-evolving style. Following huge commercial success with records such as ‘My Love’ (featuring Jess Glynne) and underground anthem ‘House & Pressure’ on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, this new three-track EP shows Route 94 returning to his club roots by exploring minimalist influences. Steeped in dark, bass-led energy, the triptych of melodic and atmospheric cuts makes a blissful re-introduction to Route 94’s sound. Opening the release with the rolling title track ‘Close’, it transitions into the hazier ‘Harder’ with its rubbery, squelching bassline, finally the intergalactic goodness of ‘Feels’ rounds off the release. The otherworldly sounds of this sublime EP illustrate the emotive powers of carefully crafted club records, with all three tracks on this EP destined to do far more than just fill the floor.
