A punchy cut armed with sharp metallic drums and sweeping low-ends, with the tracks infectious whistle melody at its core, ‘Chill Bill’ looks set to mark the arrival of an artist on the rise and yet another peak-time anthem from one of the UK’s favourite labels.

My first big record on a well known and influential label. I gave the music to @Josh Wink and it took him one year to release it, which was pretty normal back in the day. 

“Menina Brasileira” came after I watched a wack movie with Penelope Cruz, ate something wrong and had a bad night’s sleep. The next day I went to the studio with the idea to produce a deep house track. Not a cliché deep house track, but to capture a deep house vibe in a non-deep house track. 

Just listen to the vocal on the flip, “Jacuzzi Games,” and you can imagine the scenario.

His Roush label has allowed Hector to support admired and respected artists including DJ W!LD and Steve Lawler as well as championing upcoming talents, demonstrating himself as an influential and leading name amongst his peers. Whether you’ve seen him play at Pacha in Barcelona, Amnesia in Ibiza or We Are Festival in London, Hector Couto can work any crowd with his playful skill that is perfectly suited to any club or festival and we can’t wait to see where he takes his sound for the year ahead.
