Brazilian talent Classmatic is next up on Hot Creations with the two-track Toma Dale EP. Having already set dancefloors alight at the hands of label heads Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, the eagerly anticipated release drops this April. 

Classmatic explained how the release came together: “Everything started when I decided I needed a track to put in my sets with congas in. I live in Brazil and wanted something to represent the Latin sound as I didn’t have any tracks that incorporated this, so that's when Toma Dale ft Nfasis was born. Bape was literally inspired by some of the tracks Jamie Jones has been playing in his sets in recent years. I wanted to create a killer groove with acid influences and also produce a slightly different breakdown to what would be expected.” 

Toma Dale ft Nfasis achieves exactly what Classmatic set out to do. The track opens proceedings with enticing congas that instantly transport you to Latin America. Punchy drum pads pounce in and combine with the percussion to create a highly energetic base, as finely cut Spanish vocals are embedded to fuse everything together. Bape pays homage to the Hot Creations sound. Warm, soft, bouncy kick drums lead the track, joined by subtle acid sounds that tantalise the ears. The breakdown is perfectly placed with the addition of mesmerising vocals that fade in and out before the punchy, bass-heavy drums are hauled back in. 

Classmatic has built up a lot of traction over recent years, catching the eyes and ears of major heavyweights in the field, releasing under such labels as Solid Grooves and Hottrax and in 2021 he remixed Cloonees’ major hit, When The Sun Goes Down. Receiving support from artists such as Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Pete Tong and Loco Dice to name a few, it comes as no surprise when we say there is a bright future ahead for the talented artist.

At once both twisted deep dance floor odyssey and masterclass in monastic minimalism, “(still) WON'T4GETU” is a complete re-imagining of the 2022 hit, by SHOUSE and dance legends Dennis Ferrer and Seth Troxler. Created using un-released recordings from the original sessions, and forged on the edges of club music by a trio of the cultures most radical forces. 

Already a much sought after underground jam causing massive reactions since appearing as the closing track at Troxler's Circoloco Sonar show, Movement Detroit, and dozens of sets by all three artists throughout the Ibiza season and beyond. This timeless rework arrives as the debut release in a series of club-focused collaborations under SHOUSE’s “Communitas” banner.

Seth Troxler comments: "When I first met Shouse in Ibiza, through our mutual friend Tyson, at DC 10, we immediately hit off. When they returned from the trip they wrote ‘Won’t Forget You’, and then got in touch and asked me to do a remix based on our experience together in Ibiza. Once I started working on it I knew then it could be a real bomb. I phoned Dennis and said, I think I got something let's collab. We set up a date for me to fly to New Jersey where he lives. Hit the studio for 3 days and made this. And I’ve been playing the remix every set ever since. The last record moment. So many track ID requests. It’s FINALLY out!” 

Dennis Ferrer adds: “This remix opportunity came at just the right time. The record was a great fit. Working with Seth was effortless fun. Things unfolded naturally and the result speaks for itself. It doesn’t get much catchier than this one!”

Lost Helicopter 'On Your Gonzo' J. Rainbow Mashup

German Brigante has been on our radar for a while, as we’ve fallen in love with his moody yet dancefloor friendly sound. Don’t let the name fool you though-his music sounds like he could be from Berlin but he’s based in Spain. After receiving a few demos it was hard to pick a favorite, so we signed a full EP, 'Chronicles'.

Fresh off his critically acclaimed album for Get Physical, he follows up with three brilliant tracks that feature his unique sound that we can’t get enough of.

“Noose” is a monster with a rumbling low end bassline and the right touch of pads to keep it moving. 'The Brigante Chronicles' goes in a dark direction with a sustained bass that you can feel in your bones. He rounds it out with 'Samoa', which is a no frills bomb-jacking beats, rolling bass, and vocal bits that work anytime of the night.

As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the bonus track 'Hey What’s Up'. But you’ll have to sign up for our new Birdfeed service to get a listen.

Atom kicks off with big techno drums and tense synths layering up into an intense groove. It’s scintillating stuff that takes you to the edge of the cosmos. Gravity is a deeper, more heady track with menacing bass and shooting lasers. Nebula then sucks you into a spooky sound world, with hard drums and cinematic synths adding up to an evocative journey. Last of all, 1991 is more tripped out, with beautiful melodies circling above the soft drums, which makes it feel like you are adrift in space. 

These are four more superbly dramatic techno cuts from one of the best in the game.
