Eden Of The Sea

Resting on an ocean floor where no one cares to look,
A hidden cavern through a door made up of sunken wood. 

Dazzling light escapes between the threshold and it’s gate. 
Enter those who brave the deep to dance and sing. They believe. The Eden of the Sea.

Down here the water feels so pleasant. Tonight is gonna shine,
Bright from the bioluminescence.

All the coolest creatures know the scene here.
They’re swimming in time.
Not gonna leave. Long as I can breath I’ll be here. I’ll be here. 

We’re moving though a liquid velvet.
Soaking sexy lace,
On a coral floor that’s funky psychedelic. 

Flow through the current. Keep on splashing.
Drink spilling down my face. 
Say goodbye to our worries. They’re not lasting. 
We’re moving past them. 

Finally finding our place in the streamline.
Below life is so much more simplified.
Now we wish to be weightless, and realize,
Oh, how we’re floating in paradise.

Go to the disco that’s the deepest. 
The Eden of the Sea.
Dreamers dancing like we need this, all sleepless.

All the sirens do their hypnotizing.
At least it’s working on me. 
Ladies shaking the sequins on their thighs, and everyone’s thriving. 

Finally finding our place in the streamline.

Let’s go where we won’t see the sun rise.

Diving further than we thought we’d ever go to dance. 
It’s like a life that we forgot, or where it all began.

Every once in a while,
I start feelin my uncertain style. 
Don’t got a lot goin on in my head,
But I never need to force a smile. 
Just rub the ball. Blow on the globe,
And wipe away the breathy glow. 
I see myself at the fork in the trail. 
Don’t care which way I gotta go. 

What’s that sound? Nobody told me it was gonna go down,
At the fork in the trail. I can’t really tell,
Which is the high road. Oh, turn around. 

Laid back. I’m not tryna to win. 
I’m as thick as the lagoon I’m in.
Sorry leisure. My life is a game,
And I play by taking oxygen.
A pebble drops. The ripples begin,
Scintillating on the water below.
I see myself at the fork in the trail. 
Don’t care which way I gotta go. 

No. I’m not a hooligan. 
I’m caught slippin all alone in the pool again. 
I’m making new friends on the street. 
How I stay cool standing here in the heat?

Well I don’t. I’m just out here fakin all of this. 
Get some help from your local radio psychologist. 
Opposites encourage me, a jolly nihilist. Got a pocket full of monkeys, but I won’t make a wish. 

I’ll never run it again. One time is all I need to misunderstand. 

Teeth all falling in fear. Who cares? Eat sugar, slender, in cashmere.
