We are The Motive. We are a local & gigging band that mix contemporary cutting edge rock (Futureheads, Killers, Kings of Leon) with a GENUINE backwards nod to innovative punk rock bands such as The Buzzcocks, Clash and The Jam etc. 
We gig regularly (using various promoters and venues) in the Birmingham area but also nationally:- we have played yorkshire, Wales, Lancashire and London (Hyde Park after winning a competition on XFM to play the O2 Festival!). We have also appeared on Radio WM's 'Introducing' and Kerrang radio.
