Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the events following the human-monster conflict, leading to an underground riddled with disarray. That said, at their core everyone is still the classic characters you know and love, even if it's a little harder to see that than usual.
That said, similar to Underfell, Hopeless follows a sort of "inverted morality" system, which is why the usually more power-hungry Gaster is actually one of the friendliest members of the cast.

On that note, Gaster takes the role of Sans. This is a much friendlier Gaster. He's still a devoted scientist, but his experiments are much safer, and are purely for the benefit of monsterkind. He never fell into any sort of creation, and is not corrupted in any sense.

Hopeless headcanons that Gaster's Theme is as short as it is because it is only a fragment of Gaster, due to him being spread across time and space. So this song attempts to turn Gaster's Theme into a "complete" song. Also yes, Gaster's gimmick is that each individual line of text has a multiple of three for the amount of words (usually 3 words or 6 words).

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore II, the Betrayed Undyne ending, details an ending in which Frisk ruins their streak of pacifism right before the end, slaying the celebrity robot Mettaton on live television. Toriel has taken her ex-husband Asgore's place after his death, and she struggles to maintain morale in an increasingly wary underground. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends. At least...in theory.

Toriel takes the role of Asgore. Once upon a time, when the Dreemurrs were a happy family, Toriel was in support of her husband's warpath against humanity. But when he changed his ways and stepped down, and their son also absconded from a life of violence, she was left alone on the throne. Too stubborn to give up her old ways, she rules the Underground with fire and fury.

October is the best time for Here We Ares and Amalgams, so I figured it was about time for Schreibertale's favorite cryptid to get their own. The other eight now lie in waiting for the next being to terrorize. These eldritch abominations were brought to life in a myriad of ways, but one thing is consistent with all of them: They can never be allowed to see the light of day.

Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell, and "Mark of Fate" is its Deltarune equivalent. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the status of both the Light and Dark World, leading to a very different kingdom from the one we know.

Ralsei takes the role of the King. One day he had a divine vision, and became convinced that he had to protect the Dark World from its prophesied destruction at all costs. That means he has to leave his sweet exterior at the door so that he can deliver on his sworn duty...but it's not a facade he's great at keeping up.

Thumbnail is obviously temporary, and will be updated when Mark of Fate gets a logo of its own.

Subswitch is a new underswap take. Taking references from other swap takes. Those will be seen later. But some swaps will be a lot different. Like the known Asriel and Monster Kid swap. It will be taken from someone else.

Frisk swaps with Chara. This swap is referenced in so many underswap takes. Here, Chara actually talks to the player, and they narrate the game too. This AU isn't going with the Chara replacement being the Narrator. You will hear their thinking.

Asriel swaps with Ralsei. This inspiration actually comes from Belowexchange. I found it really interesting and make this Underswap take more interesting than before. Ralsei is Toriel's child. What about Asgore? Toriel doesn't want to talk about him that much.

Moon actually gave us permission to use the original in Hopeless, but we figured we'd try to put our own spin on it while still showing love for the original. So here is our (modified) cover.

They may be cynical and distrustful, but they're also loyal and determined, and will do anything to keep their brother's flimsy utopia safe.
