The North Charleston SC native, singing since the age of 3, is well known for his hit single “Bet You Won’t Turn Up” that has been breaking the radio waves at Z93 Jamz and 99.3 The Box. Big D has his own unique sound that not only caters to the streets and the ladies, but also has surely been a party starter in countless clubs in South Carolina and surrounding cities. Big D is not only a singer but a writer as well, and is known for his catchy hooks and the ability to make a song his.

Big D has everyone looking to get a feature as his presence on a track speaks for its self. Big D has worked with various artists such as Black Noize (Asap Rockys Live Band), MPA Wicced, Dirty Dave, Marly Mar, Mista Taylor, and See Turner. He has also worked with various producers such as Mossberg Montana, Beatman Fresh, BB Slim and Base Gang to name a few. He has also performed at various venues such as Brass Elephant, Club Crucial, Spankys Georges, Willies, Club Paradise, Pulse and Oasis just to name a few.

Big D has been featured in Geechee One Magazine, GlobalShyne.com and was awarded Best Song of the year for “Bet You Won’t Turn up” at the Geechee One Awards 2014. With 2014 setting the tone coming into 2015 Big D is surely putting in the footwork with the release of his much anticipated album “The Voice of Charleston” which dropped Feb 12th, of this year. The album includes a few of his hit singles “Bet You Won’t Turn Up”, “Go Dumb Girl” and “One Life”.
