John “Dj JrKiss” Perry

I was raised in Cape Cod, MA then moved to Poughkeepsie, NY in 1995 and that is where it all started! (The love of the electronic beat that is!!) I spent many of the previous years following bands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish around the country (I’ve been to 49 states). That's where I first really understood the power of music on a large crowd and the true meaning of the word VIBE!!

When I moved to NY, I started going to clubs and raves and shortly thereafter got involved in promoting and then running my own company in NYC. I spent years going to hundreds if not a thousand parties, being on stage three feet away from the best Djs from around the world; learning, listening and now applying it to my own music!

In 2000 I threw my last rave and started to play with producing my own music and putting together live sets with Ableton Live. I then got in front of my first pair of 1200's and let’s just say the rest is history!!

I now Dj with an all digital setup (portability!!!). My love is House music, but I also love my hip-hop too. What I do best is be a ‘REAL’ Dj and play to the crowd, not just what I want to hear! So, depending on the night, the club, and the crowd that’s what you will hear or maybe a little of both!!!!
