Welcome (back) to this space! 30th podcast is here and it is hosted by Austrian newcomer Healian!

On the previous podcast we talked about Toulouse, an endless fabric of talented producers and this February we have to focus on another city where the Drum & Bass scene has been evolving quite a lot in the past couple of years.

Austria is one of those special countries in the DnB and, with Graz as the epicenter, has been grace us with a ton of exciting acts and Healian is the perfect example of this. Not even 2 years in the scene and this artist is set to lead the new generation of Drum & Bass.

Earth Shook (SHOOK Thursdays Live)

The debut EP from onefifteen, "Get/It", is an exploration of experimental halftime that is at the forefront of the onefifteen project. 

Kicking in the door with the heavy, hip-hop driven title track and followed by the fun and quirky wonk of "Sticky Business", the EP is given a deep, textural conclusion with "Purple & Green". 

These tracks are a combination of head-nodding rhythms, deep, dirty bass and strange, distorted effects and serve as a launchpad for what the onefifteen project has planned.

This one I was feelin' bass heavy. It's got some liquid groove to it but  you'll find it's on the heavier side. 

I've been trying to practice being in control of my levels so that they stay consistent through the entire mix. I can definitely hear an improvement between this and my earlier mixes, but I'm not quite where I wanna be so I'm gonna keep trying.
