For our next transmission, Stil vor Talent goes meridian-crossing, traveling from Berlin to New York with the talented likes of Annett Gapstream and Big Apple-based outfit Local Dialect for an epic round of IQ-endowed, stadium-sized body music.

Following on from her contribution to the label's 300th anniversary triptych last year, Gapstream serves up two climactic tracks marked by a highly cinematic character and packed with the kind of big-room firepower that'll get everyone on their knees no matter how early or late in the set. "All Over" strikes first, and dishes out a mix of liquid-like, dynamic chug rubbing shoulders with cavernous pads out a Gotham vigilante score. "Odds Are Good" trades the spacious, forward-rolling strut of the previous for a more jagged programming, fleshing it out with layers of cosmic arpeggios and trouble-brewing sub-bass onslaughts to brush a complete tableau of otherworldly escapism. 

NYC's very own duo Local Dialect pick up the torch with two joints fusing a tribal approach to rhythm with next-level engineering. A true hybrid weapon, "Yaksha" blends in strains of classic prog techno and house, forging something of a compelling momentum lushly adorned with spiralling synths, stripped back to the absolute essential for enhanced floor-sweeping effect. "Gandharva" caps off the release on a more Italo-informed, EBM-ish vibe. Tapping in the genre's typical palette of bouncy arps and fast-paced bass stunts, it evolves into a proper astronautical epic, perfect for either an improvised voguing near the Sea of Serenity or busting moves at the end of a NASA module's robotic arm.

PREMIERE: Michon - Don't Lie, Don't Cry (TH Moy Remix) [Alpha Black]

Blanka Barbara lands on ICONYC for her full-length debut titled 'Forgotten Pharaoh' in collaboration with renowned vocalist Jinadu. The UK based producer continues to be one of the top tier progressive house artists with continued support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J and Nick Warren, along with releases on Mango Alley, Eat My Hat and Krafted among others. 

'Forgotten Pharaoh' finds Blanka and Jinadu at their creative best with a driving, hypnotic production that's nicely dialed in or the dance floor. Punchy beats and a full, driving groove anchor the piece, as vibrant tones and spacey effects adorn the framework. Once the main break hits with Jinadu's outstanding vocal work, the stellar charm of the composition quickly saturates your pleasure centers, before melting down to a resounding reservoir as the beats drop for a storming finale. Outstanding work from Blanka & Jinadu.

The first remix of 'Forgotten Pharaoh' comes courtesy of non-other than Aaron Suiss, who returns to the label with a deep melodic remix here. The US artist reshapes the original elements into something deeper and more melodic spacious sounding. The wonk factor on the low end is quite high and monumentally groovy as well, nicely playing off the rolling rhythmic qualities as dulcet hooks and gentle harmonics drift in and out of the framework. The main break shifts the narrative into more emotive territory but the dance floor sensibility remains, with muted beats and percussive clusters building towards a tasteful drop. Superb rework from Aaron. 

The third and final interpretation of 'Forgotten Pharaoh' comes from label debutant Jas/t. The French producer follows up on excellent releases on ERRORR, Addicted & Zatar Music with a brilliant interpretation here. Deep, compelling and acutely mysterious, its deep melodic qualities and richly textured groove make for a lovely first act. As atmospheres evolve, distinctive stabs and vocal edits steal the air, before a one-minute break takes you further into a haze of psychedelic audio, perfectly setting up a groovy finale. A brilliant remix from Jas/t that's likely destined for the sets of the big boy brigade. Highly recommended.
