Back to our Big Bells Records is our resident producer Smart Wave from Romania. This is our release number 29 and it includes four songs, two original mixes, and two remixes Veeco and Edvard Hunger. 

Smart Wave is a very experienced producer. He produces music, plays guitar, and also he is a founder of Smart Phenomena Records. He has many releases for labels such are Baroque Records, PHW, Stripped Recordings, BQ Recordings, Bonzai, and others. His second appearance on our label, Smart Wave prepared two melodic-deep progressive house songs. Opac EP also includes two remixes made by Edvard Hunger and Veeco.

Edvard Hunger made a dynamic and progressive remix of Opac's song and it is his typically well know sound. The second remix is made from the song Orizont and it's a job done by Veeco from Hungary. Veeco also had one EP released last year on our Big Bells Records. Now, this is his first remix duty on our label. His remix is pure techno and melodic house-type sound, a perfect club version of this song.

This is Vaction Messier EP made by Kosala B from Sri Lanka with a remix duty from music producer Vishnu (LK).

Kosala B is a young producer from Sri Lanka, releasing music on labels such are Another Life Music, Ah Digital, OLD SQL Recordings, and our Big Bells Records. His song Vaction Messier was already released, as part of our Amsterdam Dance Event Compilation in 2021. Now, it's an official EP with a remix from Vishnu (LK).

We proudly present our release number 35 with Stefan Soare, Gulnara and Argentina's living legend Ernesto Romeo. Last year Stefan did an exclusive interview for our Big Bells Digital and told us about his plan to travel to Argentina. During his time in Argentina, he met Ernesto Romeo in his studio in Buenos Aires, and together they made a wonderful melodic song called Elements. Stefan is from Romania, he lived in Berlin and Argentina and now he lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. Stefan likes to say for himself "I am a nomad who left his home to be able to progress in my career." Stefan had releases on labels such are Natura Viva, Mental Schizophrenia, Evitative Records, Asymmetric Recordings, Votiva Records, and from now our Big Bells Records.

Ernesto Romeo is a legend in his own right – considered among the pioneers of the scene in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a modular synth master and a member of Klauss (since 1988). He has built up a fantastic collection of electronic instruments and his studio is one of the best synth studios in South America. In 2018 Ernesto released EP "Momentum" together with techno legend Carl Craig on Planet E. He is also well known in his homeland as a producer on Tango Project back in 2004. Ernesto did an interview for DJ Mag Latino America in 2018 and said "that the function of art is a primary function, it is not something that in the human being is different from eating or loving. The moment I felt that art was a necessity, it stopped worrying me. Obviously, I had to eat and I had a hard time. But I knew I had to figure it out, whether it was teaching classes or participating in plays that needed different music. And so it happened, so things came up and I loved them all."

Welcome to release number 41 with Tomic. Tomic release name is  Thomas Martin Wagner and he is a music producer since 1992 and a DJ since 1995. He started producing his music on the legendary KORG M1 and an EMU Sampler. As this was in the early '90s there were no influences by real techno music, but as he grew in the '70s and '80s legendary artists like Gorgio Moroder, Visage, Human League, Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. 

His first release in 1997 was on a small label called Bazookah Records from Wuppertal with the project "Fast Lane" and was called "The Fly".
After some releases on Stripped Records, he established his label called "Fraud Recordings" in 2006, on which he released another big package of his own stuff. In 2007 he got the chance to release one track on the compilation "Declivity" on the still very famous and legendary label "Iboga Records". This was followed by another two releases on the compilations "Platform 01" and "Bakkelit 2.1" on one of the most legendary labels in the Psychedelic Trance and Progressive Trance scene "Spiral Trax".

Tomic's EP is called Brown Suger and it comes with one super remix from a talented Sri Lanka producer SANI NIMS. We already know SANI NIMS since he is our regular and established producer on our label. This EP is a perfect combination of experienced and well-established skills plus young and refreshing talent.

Release number 43 is from talented Ishan (SL) from Sri Lanka. Ishan was our guest on our podcast series Big Bells & Friends and now he deceide to join our label with this fantastic EP.

Ishan (SL) gained his first residency at RIU Hotels and Resorts, Sri Lanka. This was an education as it was a commercial residency where he had to focus mainly on playing hip hop and R&B for the tourists, however, in the meantime, he still got opportunities to play what he loved playing the most, and that was purely underground music. Then he moved to the tropical paradise, Maldives, and worked as a Resident DJ there for more than two years. Now, he is the Resident DJ of our biggest event planner in Sri Lanka, La Foresta, and he has shared decks with international artists such as Armen Miran, Roy Rosenfeld, DJ Ruby, Aaron Suiss, Inna Ra, and Carolina Martinez.

Ishan's EP "Serendipity" is coming with two wonderful remixes from Lucio Gastaldo and Mati Vaira. Both producers are from Argentina and they gave us special Argentinian progressive house touch to this song. Luci Gastaldo already had one EP last year on our label and this will be his first remix duty. Mati Vaira will have his debut on Big Bells Records and he has a very long list of great releases. He released his music on labels such are Mango Alley, One Of A Kind, 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection South America, and many others.

Our 3rd Storytellers compilation with super-talented producers is here. Last year we had compilation number 01 and in March 2023, we had series number 02 completed by SANI NIMS from Sri Lanka.

We must share with you guys, that 90% of this compilation is music made by producers from Sri Lanka. Progressive house music has gained popularity in Sri Lanka's club scene in recent years. The progressive scene, characterized by its melodic and atmospheric sound, has found a dedicated following among young music enthusiasts. Local DJs, producers and promoters have also emerged, contributing to the growth of the progressive house music scene in the country. The core elements of this compilation are melodic and atmospheric sound, complex chord progressions, and a focus on building tension and creating a journey-like experience. This compilation shows all talent and music passion that we have in Sri Lanka now.
