Esce il 14 ottobre il nuovo EP Dive Twice di Luca Sammartin in arte Yoop e della talentuosa producer e vocalist Italo/Olandese Aimée Portioli in arte Grand River

L’EP nasce a seguito della richiesta di una soundtrack originale per il nuovo spot dello scooter Honda SH Mode 125, alla quale Yoop risponde con Dive Twice, eterea traccia tra il synth pop e l’ambient post punk di Sigur Rós e Mercury Rev, reviviscenze del dream pop che sta vivendo una seconda giovinezza nel Nord Europa grazie a labels come 4AD e le produzioni di Simon Raymonde dei Cocteau Twins fondatore della blasonata Bella Union.

Miss Portioli stringe le redini con un remix che dà potenza e sostanza alla traccia usando il suo preset/moniker Grand River; campionamenti vocali che diventano armonizzazioni tipiche del post dubstep di James Blake, SBTRKT, Mount Kimbie cavalcano grooves & kicks techno/house sicura eredità genetica della “techno” cratica Olanda. Il brano è stato mixato da ContaineR

Una perla splende alla fine di questo paragrafo musicale, si chiama “In Vain”, alternative rock a tutto tondo, riff di chitarra soft rock quantizzati tra batteria e synth ipnotico, ritmiche accelerate e intervallate da bridge chill ad effetto, loops e la voce di Valentina Sicco.

Nasce nel 2008 da un’idea di Luca Sammartin, già attivo nella scena musicale con il nome d’arte Acidhead, come sviluppo interiore e espansione artistica facendo propria l’esperienza delle produzioni tra del glitch, le melodie dell'indie e dello shoegaze, portanto Yoop su un sentiero più hard e club oriented.
Iniziano le sperimentazioni con remix per act come Port-Royal, Blume, Edwood, Ensemble, Fabryka, The Tapes che lo portano al primo traguardo nel 2010 anno in cui esce l’album d’esordio “Levels” su Snowy Peach, una raccolta di 11 tracce composte tra il 2006 e il 2009. Nel 2002 dopo un incontro casuale a un concerto inizia la collaborazione con Aimée che risulterà nell’apertura del TapTempo Studio nel 2013.

_Grand River
Grand River Aka di Aimée Portioli nasce dalla voglia di un allontanamento dalla musica cantata, che rappresenta la sua prima fase di svezzamento artistico fin da tenera età. Dopo il 2010, anno in cui Luca e Aimée compongono un brano per la colonna sonora di Romanzo Criminale edito da EMI Italy, decide di dedicarsi alla musica elettronica, staccandosi sempre più dal pop e dai testi parlati.
Grandi River è la congiunzione tra elettronica/techno d'avanguardia e analogico.
Nel novembre 2013 uscirà il suo primo EP per la Black Nite Records, sublabel dell’italianissima Gold Nite Records

The new EP Dive Twice by Yoop aka Luca Sammartin with the talented Italian / Dutch producer
and vocalist Grand River aka Aimée Portioli was released on October 14th.

The EP is the result of a request for an original soundtrack for the new Honda SH 125 Mode ADV, which Yoop responds with Dive Twice, ethereal track between synth pop and ambient post-punk of Sigur Rós and Mercury Rev, revivals of dream pop that is experiencing a second youth in Northern Europe thanks to labels like 4AD and the production of Cocteau Twins’ Simon Raymonde, founder of the “noble” Bella Union.

Miss Portioli gives an exhibition of her skills with a remix that gives power and substance to the track using its preset/moniker Grand River ; vocal samples becomes harmonies typical of the post- dubstep of James Blake , SBTRKT , Mount Kimbie ride grooves & kicks techno / safe house heritage genetics of "techno " cratic Netherlands. The track was mixed down by ContaineR

A pearl shines at the end of this section of music, is called " In Vain " , alternative rock in the round, soft rock guitar riffs between quantized drums and hypnotic synths , rhythm accelerated and interspersed with bridge chill effect , loops and the voice of Valentina Sicco.

He was born in 2008 from an idea by Luca Sammartin, already active in the music scene with the stage name Acidhead as inner development and expansion artistic experience of making his own productions, including the glitch, the melodies of the hot and shoegaze, carry Yoop on a path harder and more club oriented.
Begin experimenting with remixes act as Port-Royal, Blume, Edwood, Ensemble, Fabryka, The Tapes that lead him to the finish line first in 2010, the year in which the album debut "Levels" on Snowy Peach, a collection of 11 tracks composed between 2006 and 2009. In 2002 he meet Aimée during a concert starting their collaboration led to the opening of TapTempo Studio in 2013.

_Grand River
Grand River Aka Aimée Portioli born from the desire of a departure from the music sung, which represents the first phase of weaning art from an early age. After 2010, the year in which Luke and Aimee compose a song for the soundtrack of Crime Novel published by EMI Italy, decided to devote himself to electronic music, breaking away more and more from pop and spoken texts.
Grand River is the conjunction between electronic / techno avant-garde and analog.
In november 2013 she released his first EP for Black Nite Records, sub-label of italian Gold Nite Records.
