Sekhmet is a DJ from Bristol and a member of Full Spectrum, a collective pushing for diverse lineups in drum and bass. As well as being a resident for Full Spectrum, she's played for other Bristol labels such as Just Be, Redacted and Too Ill. Shogun Audio proudly presents 'Play Fool', the electrifying lead single from the forthcoming collaborative EP by two legends of the drum & bass scene: Zero T and Fox.

Zero T, with over two decades in the game, returns to Shogun Audio, the label where he first made an appearance on the 'Assassins EP Volume 3' in 2008. His illustrious career has solidified him as a true stalwart of the scene, and highlights include a catalogue of four albums, countless EPs, curating the FabricLive052 album, and remixing Goldie, Dillinja and Lemon D. 

Manchester-based Fox is an MC that operates at the top level of UK bass music. With a catalogue marked by both depth and versatility, he’s recorded with elite artists such as Calibre, IAMDDB, My Nu Leng, Alix Perez, Zed Bias, Tyler Daley, Equiknoxx and others. 

'Play Fool' opens with Fox's unmistakable vocal delivery, channelling his Jamaican roots over a dub-infused cut. As the track progresses, it erupts into relentless drum loops, pulsating sub-bass, and piercing dub sirens.

As the first glimpse into Zero T & Fox's forthcoming EP, it sets the stage for a raw but precise project, capturing that vintage energy with modern clarity and poised to make waves across the scene.

019 brings more off-grid music from Bigchoc. Few relatively new ideas, some older soundscapes that waited for the right moment to surface.

All of it still carries that Noble identity: raw, self-assured, and in no rush to explain itself.

Across these eight tracks, you’ll find flickers of paranoia (Snakes & Grassers), clarity (Internal Bliss), bounce (Bring The Funk), and fractured sentiment (Sending My Love). From the reptilian weight of Komodo to the space and silence of Blank Paper, each track moves its own way. Switchboard scrambles the signal; Get It Get Gone finishes the thought and exits without fanfare.

No formula. No confirmation. Just another chapter in ESAF’s ongoing refusal to play it safe.

Apollo Navigation, hailing from Hemel Hempstead, discovered his passion for the frenetic rhythms and low-end energy of drum and bass in 2016 and has since been honing his craft as as both a DJ and producer. Inspired by the likes of Alix Perez, Amoss & Skeptical, he continues to develop as an artist, focusing on the minimal style of DNB, bringing the deepes subs to his sets.

This one to me feels like the struggle within, whether it be mental health, indecision, or just failure to deal with life on Life's terms. I tried to capture this in the stop and go, the old school Jungle, and the distortion of the very distorted, mechanical, and emotionally detached vocal clips were taken from text embedded in the picture.

As a resident DJ at Breakthru, the home of liquid and soulful drum & bass in Birmingham, Bigchoc delivers immersive, high-energy sets. They’ve also played at the Janbala Festival for two consecutive years, bringing deep, soulful selections to festival crowds. Beyond the music, their expertise in sound system setups ensures every event is a next-level experience.
