Wroclaw based producer lines up SPLOT’s label debut with deers by bess. Directed at experimental-bass club contexts and soundsystem culture, it represents a wide range of fresh UK sounds, from deep dubstep, grime tropes to heavy breaks. Opening up with napar; dubwise sensibility combined with wobble bass, eerie pads and unsettling low-end melodies. indecisive soundboy is a real chaos, where squashed ragga breaks meet glitched forms and dread bass. manta keeps things meditative and creates the great deep of the EP. bonfire presents a truly climactic workout, opening to a raw space of natural samples and overdriven textures. Finishing with deers by bess, which brings together sleepy ambiance and menacing melodies. deers by bess drops on Friday, June 3rd via SPLOT.

PINS: A Compilation Of Electronic Music From Glasgow is a project and party born out of the desire to represent a DIY ethos bubbling through the veins of Glasgow's electronic music community. 

The 6 track compilation releases on June 24th 2022, and aims to highlight the vast variety of electronic music being made and played in and around Scotland's largest city, right now. Ranging from the dub influenced, woozy electronica of WomenSaid and Pigeon Steve through to the edgy, textural compositions of Helena Celle and EVANTHÉA and the percussive, immersive club ready shapes strung together by Kamus & Pinball Spider and KAVARI, the compilation takes a listener on a journey through the sounds resonating within club spaces, on local airwaves, and within studios across the region.

Arkaik & Objectiv team up once again with deadly consequences. Two artists whose productions are always full of character and personality, “Sines" perfectly blurs the boundaries between the rolling Bristol sound and Arkaik's edgy London sound.

Somewhere deep in the Surrey hills, armed with a few choice records and a bucket load of creativity and ambition Peter Goebel AKA @Arkaik began his career within Drum and Bass, and over a decade later he’s now a pioneer of the stripped back sound with his mark made on many labels within the scene, as well as playing across the globe.

Following a sporadic handful of singles since he emerged on the drum and bass scene back in 2017, Objectiv has released his first solo EP on minimal powerhouse Flexout Audio, something he has described as ‘a dream come true.’ With a focus on explorative bass sound design and heavy-hitting drum work Objectiv is quickly making himself known.

The C Powers sound is informed by years spent building electronics and collecting records in Chicago, honing crowd control skills in the foggy clubs of London, and helping foster a small yet respected community in the marshes of Savannah GA. Cici began their dj career at age 11 when they finally had saved enough allowance for a set of GLI decks and mixer that came bundled with a sampler. Their current sets often make full use 3 decks in order to toy with the notions of the "sampled" and the "live". While residing back in their home state of Georgia, Cici was holding resident DJ posts at Atlanta's HUNGER club night (with the esteemed TWINS) and their own Cape Fear in Savannah GA (initially founded with SafeSound). C was also the resident DJ for Savannah's own legendary and trashy House Of Gunt performance group who create cross sensory stimulation experiences involving gender blasting action and choreography and also brought in many talented selectors to their MIX events. C has been around.

Big Dyke Energy’s purpose is to create a dance floor and a community where we can explore being authentically ourselves. The party was born out of a realisation that SE London lacked spaces for queer women, non-binary, intersex and trans+ people to harness hedonism and freedom of expression.
