This is the second part of a three-parts episode on the history of Kurdish-Palestinian relationship. In this part, I continue discussing the relationship between the Kurdish and Palestinian struggles for self-determination with Elif Genc. Elif is a PhD student in politics at the New School for Social Research working on Kurdish struggle in the diaspora and an adjunct professor of politics at St. John’s University and Marymount College in New York. She is also an activist in the Kurdish women’s freedom movement in Canada and the United States. She recently wrote a piece on Kurdish-Palestinian movements relationship with a focus on more recent development and the politics involved in a special issue on Kurdistan in Middle East Report.
