concept piece made in conjunction with dancer Karen Gleeson, videographer Dermot Marrey and a group of deaf people in Clondalkin Most of our mothers were named Ann. 
The rhythms are derived from morse code translations of things our deaf collaborators would like to be able to communicate with more ease/skill. 
As is the text. Inspired by the textual collage/cutup experiments of William Burroughs & Brion Gysin I chopped up the audio recording of the text and reordered it's words with a purposeful lack of reason/thought/consideration in the hope of leaving space for and allowing unseen energies to uncover new and unintended meanings from their words/hopes
