Jody Wisternoff first gained prominence in the early 1990s as one half of the renowned duo Way Out West, alongside Nick Warren. Way Out West's music blended elements of Progressive House, Trance, and Breakbeat, creating a distinct and innovative sound that helped define the genre. As a solo artist, Wisternoff often explores deeper and more melodic aspects of electronic music, making him a respected figure in the Progressive House and Deep House subgenres, not to mention his role as a label owner, with the launch of the label Anjunadeep in collaboration with James Grant.
