K.Star is a former RCA recording artist, veteran vocalist, songwriter, and producer born and raised in "Midtown" Jersey City, New Jersey. His visually reflective writing style, vocal ability, and infectious harmonies lend themselves to the old the new and the future!
Music Is My Life (The Evolution) by K.Star is the part 2 to his first "commercial" album. 
His first self-titled album (K.Star - Music Is My Life) was recorded while he was signed to RCA records. His first single was called "Look Out Tonight Feat. Wyclef Jean". Wyclef, Melky, and Sedek Jean worked with K.Star on the album.
He says his mom was always singing, dancing and playing music in the house, the car, etc., music was literally "Everywhere"!
Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Lauren Hill, Luther Vandross, Billy Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Prince, and many more worldwide icons are primarily where Star garnered and honed in on his musical ability.
As a teen, Kris got into more trouble, but with the law and ended up incarcerated for a few years. He remains grounded because of where he's been and what he has gone through in his life which is the "lifeblood" of his music.
Music is My Life (The Evolution) is a story of where K.Star was, where he is now and just the beginning of where he's headed.
