Hailing from South Carolina, originally having the passion to be a singer..Big Mama German got introduced to the world of rap at 8 years old. In 2013 German started puttting herself out there showcasing her rapping abilities under the name “Raspberry German”. Heavily inspired by 90s and 2000s music and fashion, she began to cultivate a style of her own. Her peers knew her for being one of the first girls from SC to rap. In 2018 German underwent a name change for something that suited her new and improved persona which is how Big Mama German became. In 2019 she released her first song , a remake of Eve’s “Who’s That Girl”. The song captured a lot of attention locally. Big Mama’s deep voice, witty lyricism, crazy flows, aesthetic & sense of nostalgia is what sets her apart from her peers. In 2021 she started to take her music career seriously networking with producer Blvck Amethyst. After dropping singles here and there, working with local artists… January 27, 2023 German released her debut mixtape The German Chocolate Factory. Notable songs from the mixtape such as Don’t Breathe, Let Me Feel It, WhatCha Thought, and Fatal Love showcased more of her personality. Within the same year on August 18, she released an EP titled GERMINATRIX. Songs such as KITT KATT and CAN’T KNOCK ME were are fan favorites from the EP. Since Big Mama then is still continuing to make a name for herself putting on for female artists and female rappers especially, thats out here.
