Why am I doing a reggae joint? Well, thats what came out and these days I don't try to police creativity because it visits more rarely than in the past. If you are like me you are probably looking at the world lately thinking WTF. Some crazy things going on and its taking more and more of an effort to believe in humanity. The song came out the way it did because I dont think a similar message could so easily be conveyed in what I usually do. Or perhaps, in the way I usually approach hiphop. While this may sound like some Khumbaya, heal the world, campfire thing I hope the message doesn't come off as just a love trumps hate because the structures we exist in need more than that. At the end there is a call for warriors and healers because its not really about just coming together without first dismantling structures that privilege certain peoples over others. So be a part of the solution and not the problem. 
PS 
Disclaimer, I did everything on this(except the logic drummer)and I tried to do a rough mix and master which I dont know anything about so its a little raw. Of course the song would have been better with Mannex or the Transit Crew but, we do what we can with what we have!
