This is a song I created during the class with Andrew Huang and I learned a bunch of new techniques in song building.  This song is much different than others I have done in the past and was a lot of fun.

It is reminiscent of smooth jazz in the 70's or 80's.

Orange Dream

In a nod to David Lanz and Paul Speer this song came together in a very short period of time, I would almost say it assembled itself.  The tracks just flowed out of my mind into the song.

What Could Be

This was intended to be a work in progress.  I may remaster it, but I am going to leave the instrumentation alone.

The date was June of 2020 and we were at the start of the pandemic.  I hadn't written or played any music for over 20 years.  I decided to get back into it and ordered up some equipment and software.

Shortly after this my best bud, Minuit, got very sick and had to be put down unexpectedly.  I immersed my sadness into my keyboard and this song was created, immortalizing this beautiful and funny cat in my heart and soul.

This song is a whimsical journey in a world of Cirque du Minuit.

Cirque du Minuit

Scott is a long-time music enthusiast that grew up in a musical family.  Later in life he picked up playing keyboards to compose music.
