DJ Mau Mau is a seminal figure in Brazilian club culture. With over three decades of experience, he has not only witnessed the evolution of the Brazilian electronic music scene, but has also been one of its main architects. Alongside him, Franco Junior, an artist with a refined sensitivity and restless creativity, adds rhythmic layers and textures that elevate the EP to a level of sophistication and energy.

The tracks on the Dance In The Street EP are built on a solid foundation of groove and electro house elements, with arrangements that balance technical isolation and creative freedom. Damián Hernán Ensabella AKA Hyperdam, contains years of music experience, his beginnings as a DJ date back almost 15 years ago.
At the age of 13 he would start playing the bass in a Rock band with childhood friends and later study drums to play in a reggae band.
In electronic music, he leaned towards the House sound, Chicago & Detroit, which is what most represents him with influences from Funk, disco,boogie, jazz, hip hop and other styles, merging the classic and the modern.
In 2017, he decided to form a DJS collective called ON THE REG (@onthereg_music) , 100% oriented to the House, Funk & Disco with his friends; and In 2019 he achieves what he dreamed of so much; To have a party of that style in the mythical The Shamrock de la Recoleta, it would be called MAGIC JOURNEY.
It also has another party and daily instagram music influences called Rejected (@Rejected_hm) .

We made it. Episode 200!  I've been doing online radio shows since the early 2000s and I think NDYD is the first to make it to 200.  There is only one reason for that. You guys. If it wasn't for the fans and listeners of this radio show I would have stopped. The messages and support I have received from you guys (and industry people) has been amazing. Especially after my car accident in 2018. So thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Since this is a special episode it needed to be well, 'special'. I got what I wish for cause the person who stepped up to help me cross this milestone is non other that NDYD veteran and especially very, very good friend Cloak Dagger (@cloakdaggernyc) out of New York City. 

His bio reads:

A permanent fixture in Manhattan’s chic hotel lounge and loft scene displaying an eclectic array of DJ residencies from the opulence of The W Hotel in Times Square to the stylish boutique NoMo SoHo and the swanky Art Deco infused Ophelia Rooftop in midtown Manhattan. 

On the production side of the coin. Cloak is a resident curator for German based label NDYD alongside his own boutique edit and rework series Noc Boots. Cloak has released music under Midnight Riot, Claude Challe select series, Bastard Jazz recordings and the Timewarp label. His latest single “Cut Me Open” is out now on Spotify and all good digital streaming sites!

Luke, his wife Drea and his entire beautiful family are some of the nicest people I have met in the industry and they have become friends for life.  I can't wait for us to play together again.

The Fingerman Mix Show 1st October 2020 (Part 1)

This week's installment of Spin City that aired  on myhouseradio.fm saw me team up with our friend, DJ/Producer, blogger, and label boss, Ken Avalon AKA Discoholic Ken ( https://soundcloud.com/discoholicsanonymous )founder of DiscoholicsAnonymous.com. Big Pack is the House Salad Music label. He discovered his love for electronic music in the mid 90's when he attended house and techno parties with local DJs. From then on, his intimate love affair with house music began. The sound of Chicago with labels like Cajual and Relief and Prescription was an inspiration for him.

He has opened shows for artists as Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Derrick Carter, Chez Damier, Felipe Gordon, Demuja, Guti, Brett Johnson, Phil Weeks, Wally Callerio, Andrew Emil, JT Donaldson, Oliver Dollar, 1200 Warriors, to name a few.

He is busy with several internet radio show residencies on Radio Webphre and So What Radioshow in Canada and Radio Electronica Jena in Germany and his own podcast & label, House Salad Music, featuring the best DJs in house music.
