The flood gates of Burning Man have finally just opened after an all-star desert thunderstorm and a tedious wait in line for most. As burners arrive on the playa from all over the world, we watch them eagerly leaving their vehicles to run over and join their friends on the dance floor. Their urgency is quite justified. The mammoth bass has been thumping all day long and we have none other than Wobs driving us into sunset with his signature blend of deep and funky house.

As a wonderful Wednesday party comes to an end, we glance over to see MANIK finishing up on the decks. In anticipation for the night, most are filling their mammoth-baks with water and eating up whatever grub is quick and easy, when suddenly, the sound of a distinct rolling bass line brings us back to the present moment. We know immediately that it’s the queen of hearts.  She’s now at her throne and she's commanding us all back to the dance floor. Tara Brooks has arrived and her sound rings strong.
