We are big fans of Simon Fava & Yvvan Back's driving Latin Tech sound. We've seen their killer versions of "Magalenha" and "Sway" tear up many a dancefloor. We are equally impressed with Cumbiafrica, whose high-octane version of "Morenita" (w/ Hugel) kick-started the Latin tech movement. So, when Simon proposed a release with all three artists, how could we refuse?! "The Heat" samples the Columbian classic "La Cumbia Cienaguera," which Samim famously used in his 2007 Ibiza anthem "Heater." Whereas Samim kept things strictly instrumental, Cumbiafrica has added their vocals to this one, giving the already-famous accordion licks a new lease of life. Add in Simon & Yvvan's party-starting percussive groove, and we have an Ibiza-primed banger. Tequilas all round!

CASSIMM’s remix of Radio Slave vs Audion’s ‘Mouth To Mouth’ continues the story of Matthew Dear’s classic, which Radio Slave revived and reinvented as part of his 2024 LP, ‘Venti’.

Radio Slave’s hi-NRG disco cover of Audion’s minimal/maximal 2006 and era-defining anthem has dominated dancefloors since it emerged as a single in late 2023, with the likes of Erol Alkan, Job Jobse, Sean Johnston, Jennifer Cardini and Eats Everything continuing to play it today and the latter awarding it an Essential New Tune whilst sitting in for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1.

Now, recent Rekids alum CASSIMM continues his huge run of form with a chunky, main-room house interpretation that shows just why his recent release, ‘House of Moves,’ won DJ support from the likes of Tong, Arielle Free, Paul Woolford, Honey Dijon, and Jennifer Loveless.

CASSIMS’s remix of Radio Slave vs Audion quickly follows Lindstrom and Solomun’s remixes of the ‘Venti’ LP’s tracks, which have seen support from the likes of Ivan Smagghe, Chloé Caillet, Nightmares On Wax, and more.

Pets Recordings continues its momentum into 2025 with its second label debut of the year: Box No Box by French-Algerian producer and rising house music star, Elisa Elisa.

Elisa Elisa burst onto the scene with a series of standout releases for labels including Anja Schneider's Sous Music, He.She.They, and Kingstreet Sounds. Her genre-spanning sound has since drawn acclaim for its versatility, from the smooth deep grooves championed by Nervous, to the percussive anthems for Melé's Club Bad, and the pure house gems showcased on Dam Swindle's Heist.

With Box No Box, Elisa Elisa opens 2025 on her own terms, delivering three tracks that embody her refusal to conform. The EP kicks off with the vibrant 'French Generation 90', a spicy carnival-infused rhythm built with an inspired French Touch. Next up is the playful 'Woo Girl', a tribal groover that Elisa Elisa describes as 'an ode to the joy of wooing on the dance floor-and in the booth!'

Finally, 'Got No Box' drives its message home with powerful beats and unapologetic energy. 'Got No Box is my answer to those who want to confine me to one category,' Elisa Elisa explains. 'It's a celebration of my many facets - none of which will ever fit into a singular stereotype, or box.'

Box No Box is a statement of artistic individuality, underscoring Elisa Elisa's place as a leader among house music's new wave of talent.
