As a "real world dj" for over 30 years i've heard tonnes of remixes & reworks but only a small fraction are "workable" i.e dance floor won't empty because the remix has insanely repetitive loops or gone off on a "tangent" [into space, where no man,,].Pleasing one person alienating everyone else. Anyone putting up a mix should be open to compliments & constructive critique. I've read mega praises , onsite here for what is often just repetitive relooping.Nothing wrong with looping except in overkill mode it will empty any dancefloor + generate a few angry looks. Remixers should be open minded and not mute constructive commentary just because they dont agree with it &amp; adore themselves too much...I try & offer both constructive criticism &/or compliments. Dont take it personally, it is just my own personal opinion like anyone else so calm down .Egocentrism is rife in the DJ world.Unfortunately Soundcloud feedback commentary is almost 100% "awesome man", "yeah sick bro" etc.So many dj's tend to faint  or need immediate psychiatric help if they read anything but praise.Sad but true.
I would love to reply back to certain dj's here like JIMMYTHETWIN regarding my constructive criticism of his over looping & TONY JOHNS on his chorus only Gary Numans CARS remix but ego has gotten the better of both & they muted me . What more can i say? Pun intended.LOL
