Unsilent Night is an original composition by Phil Kline, written specifically to be heard outdoors in the month of December. It takes the form of a street promenade in which the audience becomes the performer. Each participant gets one of four tracks of music in the form of a cassette, CD, or Mp3. Together all four tracks comprise Unsilent Night. The fact that the participants play different "parts" simultaneously helps create the special sound of the piece. Participants carry boomboxes, or anything that amplifies music, and simultaneously start playing the music. They then walk a carefully chosen route through their city’s streets, creating a unique mobile sound sculpture which is different from every listener's perspective.

evening tide, higher than the last few nights when weve arrived. darkness falls, we unleash the dogs, the sand beneath us falls so we chased our wild friends over the rocks. seagulls moan the last bits of summer melt away into foam we kick with our feet, Wells Beach speaks things ive only told you all along. but thats assumed, im just trying to get out of this bean bag chair and howl at the moon. i could just lay my head on back but the truth consumes a selfish man and a hollow moon.

"Wait" - Sulfur/cecilnick

reverie no. 2 : entranced for solo harp is the second in a series of pieces I plan to write for various solo instruments. This piece depicts an individual caught in a dream, lured away from normal reality by a phantasm glimpsed through the haze. Performed by Denise Rudell.

      In 1995, Chad Senkyrik plugged his guitar into his first
      effects pedal, a Boss phaser, and his world changed. Coupling
      it with a delay pedal, he discovered the sonic possibilities
      of tweaking knobs during a transcendental improvisational jam
      with friends. While playing with the avante-punk band Avoid
      The Band, he acquired a multi-effects unit, and quickly
      pushed the pedal to it's limits. Using it on their album
      "Zygote Suicide", he added interstellar sounds to enhance the
      psychedelic feel of the songs. Still, he wondered what his
      music would sound like with only the ambient sound effects.
      With the formation of Kurse Go Back, he got his chance to
      find out. Working with his long-time friend (and drummer for
      Avoid The Band) Jefferson Mayday Mayday, and joined by fellow
      sonic experimenter Moon (R.I.P.), Kurse Go Back embraced a
      no-holds-barred, anything goes approach to music. It was
      during this time that Chad discovered the seemingly infinite
      possibilities of using a computer to create the sounds he had
      previously only heard in his head. Now, through the use of
      MIDI, and with many years of experience, he crafts organic
      electronic soundscapes in an attempt to free the mind of
      social conditioning, and to reassure the listeners that,
      despite their status in the "real" world, they are Gods. Find
      the God in you. 

All sounds are performed live with no overdubbing.
