Audio State [Elevate, Prospect, Legend] is a rising star from Romania who aims to push further the boundaries of techno music.

Sentient Beings is a typical of his talented work with rolling techno beats, pounding drums, big basslines, gliding synths and chords.

No need to give so many descriptions to the electronic music legend Hollen, who made his signature remix to the fantastic original.

And finally, Zafer Atabey made a significant support to the EP with a stylish remix. Zafer heard the original track and fell in love for the first time in a Victor Ruiz livestreaming set and convinced Audio State to make this release from the young and passionate EXTIMA together with a powerful remix adding some fury and passion to the existing heavy sentiments of the original.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Senso boss Oliver Huntemann first released the original version of Magnet in 2011 as a part of his Paranoia LP on Ideal Audio. A few years later, Brazil’s leading underground techno light Victor Ruiz reworked the track into an unofficial bootleg, which since had been rinsed by Ruiz, Huntemann and a slew of top DJs around the world. Such was its effect on the dance-floor, it’s now finally receiving an official release via Senso in a slightly updated version. The track itself is a lesson in tough, driving techno - unrelenting in its mission, yet infused with layers of subtlety and deeply funky beeps, squelches and effects. It’s a machine-funk monster, and it’s easy to see why the bootleg clocked up over 225,000 listens on Soundcloud.

This week marks 10 years of DJing and playing gigs for me - and whilst we aren’t neck deep in the rave I’d been planning to celebrate a decade of dance, we do have some really special music to share with you.

These tracks were birthed earlier this year in a very uncertain and stressful time, which I think really comes through in the mood of the EP.

We made them with the intent and goal of signing them to Maksim Dark’s label Dense Audio, which he did! 

Maksim has been a massive inspiration for our sound over the years so we are over the moon to be showcasing on the imprint.
