Cedar Rapids Gazette Hawkeye hoops (and football) beat writer Scott Dochterman joins the Chat to discuss just what's been in the water lately in Iowa City. After the football program's resurgence this fall, the basketball program has essentially picked up right where things left off. Undefeated in the Big Ten with sweeps over ranked conference favorites Michigan State and Purdue, Iowa goes on the road to the third favorite Maryland this week. Other than Terps, the schedule lightens the rest of the way, but still has plenty of potential hazards. How will the Hawks close this season out? We'll see, but the ride for their fans has been nothing short of exciting - they just haven't been used to this.
