Marking a high point in Zimmer’s catalogue, Saved My Life EP moves with widescreen intent — pianos soaring skyward, robust basslines locking into deep, progressive grooves. There’s a reverence here for classic house and trance tropes, but it’s filtered through a contemporary, analog-tinted lens. Korg-driven synthwork adds warmth and bite, grounding the release in tactile detail.

"Invisible Sandwich" is a standout track from Zimmer's upcoming "Save My Life" EP, released under his own label Big Trouble Records. The EP showcases Zimmer's versatility as an artist, drawing inspiration from trance, progressive euro house, and '90s house music. Available on both 12" vinyl and digital formats, the EP includes three additional tracks, releasing on May 23, 2025.

this song was very interesting to make cos it taught me how to be way more intentional about each element in the track. like I feel very in control of this production and all its different parts at every point in the song. as a producer there’s no better feeling 💆‍♂️ it’s like when you’re riding a horse and all it takes is the smallest touch to make them stop on a dime, run full speed, jump over a river or fight enemy horses. idk i’ve never ridden a horse but I imagine that’s what it’s like.

I’ve loved playing this in nearly all my sets these past couple months. enjoy the free DL :)
