Canadian born (and a Toronto resident), MoSS may be a new name to some in the music game, but his production credits are instantly recognizable and have resulted in over 2 million record sales worldwide. Ghostface Killah’s smash hit “Kilos”, Raekwon’s ”Have Mercy”, Obie Trice’s entire Special Reserve album and most recently a collaborative album with Eternia (At Last which was released on Fatbeats).

MoSS got his first taste of notoriety by working with Obie Trice (Shady Records) around 2000. Moss was producing records for Obie, including both his independent singles ”Well Known” and the 12” “Mr. Trice,” which created the buzz that eventually led to Obie’s major label deal. Since then, MoSS has produced for a long list of “who’s who” in the hip hop world, including: Joell Ortiz, Ghostface, Papoose, Peedi Crack, The Game, Slum Village, Boot Camp Clik, Red Cafe, Mr Easy, AZ, Bounty Killa, D-Block (Styles P and Sheek Louch), Termanology, Big Shug, M.O.P., Kool G. Rap, Ras Kass, Omilio Sparks, Proof of D12 and the list goes on.

A former member of DJ Premier’s production label, “Works of Mart”, as Premier’s first ever production signee, MoSS is not only an emcee’s producer, but a producer’s producer as well. Recognized by an elite group in his field, he is known by many as a true “record digger.” Having assisted on price guides, rare record books and various musical anthologies, MoSS eventually started his own reissue label, Strawberry Rain, which specializes in re-releasing rare psychedelic music from around the world, including countries like Indonesia, Iran, France; and even Zambia where he travelled to find records and artists. Strawberry Rain has gained recognition across the globe and has been singled-out by a veritable slew of major media publications.

While his production work for other artists has resulted in him being recognized by outlets such as Rolling Stone, Spin, People and more, today, MoSS officially unveils his debut album, Marching To The Sound Of My Own Drum, which will be released on 11-13-15 and features appearances from Joe Budden, DJ Premier, AZ, Joell Ortiz, Sean Price, Jon Connor, Skyzoo, Inspectah Deck, Ill Bill, Havoc, Onyx, Slum Village, Willie The Kid, Guilty Simpson, Termanology, Peedi Crakk, Slaine and others.

On the lead single off his upcoming album, 'Grimey Life,' living Queensbridge legend Big Twins embraces the scary season with the snarling “Phantom of the Opera” produced by The Alchemist.

The NY rapper and Cali producer have teamed up a number of times over the years, and each collaboration solidifies the fact that they’re only getting better with time. This latest joint venture is anchored by Alc’s chilling instrumental that, yes, features organs reminiscent of the musical of the same name.

The thing is, the “Phantom” in this case is Big Twins himself, who dons the mask and is letting his villainous side shine through. He starts the track with some of the best opening bars in recent memory—“My voice is like poison/ Venom in your veins, you gettin’ nauseous/ As a kid I stole Porsches/ Dun, I loved that car, we was flossin’”—before threatening his enemies to fall back on the hook.

The best part about this track, though, is that it’s just an appetizer of what’s to come. In addition to 'Grimey Life' dropping on mid November, Twins and Alc are hard at work on a joint album that’s due out next year.

Queensbridge rap kings Big Twins and the late Prodigy are calling out all the fake followers and phonies on the DJ B. Original-produced “Loyalty Over Love,” the final single from Twins’ forthcoming album, 'Grimey Life.'

In addition to being another great collaboration between two stellar rappers, it represents the final song they were able to record together before P’s untimely passing in June 2017. It’s for that reason that “Loyalty Over Love” is Twins’ favorite cut on the album, but it’s also just a shining example of why P was one of the best ever.

P’s untouchable style is evident as soon as he starts spitting on here: “F*ck your love, n***a, where was you when bullets flew?/ Where was you when n***as came for me—who?” His rhymes continue to build upon and reflect the greater message of the track, which Twins says came together based on the following concept: “People always say they love me, but there’s no loyalty so there’s no love.” It’s a harsh, honest, and real depiction of what everyone goes through in life on some level, and it’s never sounded better or more authentic.

“Loyalty Over Love” is the third and final single taken from Twin’s 'Grimey Life' LP, which is available NOW through the emcee’s own imprint, Drumset Music Works via EMPIRE. To set it off, “Like a Dream” eases you in with its laid-back, bluesy production from longtime collaborator, Havoc. It sets the tone for the Mobb’s Big Twins, Ty Nitty, and Godfather Pt. III to spit their raw, realist bars about life as they know it in Queensbridge. “Like a Dream” is also the first single off their upcoming new album, ‘IM3,’ that will include production from The Alchemist, DJ Muggs, Twiz The Beat Pro, DirtyDiggs, and more.

The track is produced by Quiet Genius, but the rest of the EP (currently untitled) is predominantly produced by Twiz The Beat Pro.
