Hey everyone! 

Quick explanation of the meaning behind the song. In Norse mythology, the Hamingja is a kind of guardian angel that determines a person's luck. In Iceland, it's a symbol of happiness. While research kind of disagrees about what it exactly means, I was inspired by the several meanings attributed to it and made a song about a female guardian angel that brings me happiness.

The instrumental is from Kanye West's "White Dress," which is part of the soundtrack for the movie "The Man with the Iron Fists." This is another song inspired by my time in Iceland, and I plan on releasing one more that is a prequel to the final verse of this song.

This one is personal. In this time of supreme oppression I pray that this project can bring a since of relief to all the pain and frustration that we are all enduring. I wanted to respond to these issues not only using the grace of music that the good lord has blessed me with but with LOVE and a whole lot of it. The cover not only presents me as a kid but it also represents all our other black sons & daughters that we are fighting to protect in this United States of evil. We will fight and we will win!
