Need To Know

'Doghouse Junk' is the first E.P. from 'Big Valley.'

The E.P. is really a by-product of the production of 'Temptation of the Saints' - the first full album. 

As Scott got down to work producing this grunge album, he found there were a few tracks that did not fit on TotS and 'Doghouse Junk' took shape. 

Scott has a catalogue of songs that he has been writing since he was 13 and now 'Big Valley' is the outlet for all this material. 

This E.P. does include new (2015/16) material but also has tracks written some years ago that have only now been realised. 

'Doghouse Junk' is intentionally and unashamedly scrappy, ragged and set to attack. A punk/grunge collage of grimy guitars, sequenced drums and laced with the synthetic production Scott learned as a drum and bass DJ/Producer. 

Everything is written, recorded and produced by Scott Jessop, at his house. The main kit list is simply a laptop, an AI and a Westone Concorde guitar that Scott rescued from the tip. It cost him £10. 


The 'Temptation of the Saints' album is already in production and will be released this spring. (2016)
