I have been listening to Unlocked by Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats nonstop lately! In the final song, 'cosmic'.m4a they call it drip hop and I wanna widen the frame. Make it not just the cool vibe of Unlocked, but a subgenre of it's own combining elements of old boom bap, cloud rap's hazy production, electronic/modern sounds and a little trap to make a rather timeless, past-yet-future vibe. Drip hop.

My childhood friend, Dylan Ingham, sadly passed away this year from a drug overdose. I wish we didn't drift as far apart as we did, although I'm lucky I have so many good memories of him to keep me going. Let him be remembered.
