Currently residing in Burlington, Vermont, and a DJ since 2000, CRWD CTRL has been working the decks traveling to various cities around the country throughout his career. He bumps a wide range of genres from classic Soul and Disco to Contemporary R&B, Bass and Deep House. A lengthy resume thus far has seen him with a vinyl release, a release on Iconic NYC label Kult Recordings, and classic imprint Dufflebag Recordings. He’s performed alongside a range of artists including Mark Farina, Kush Jones (Juke Bounce Werk), Ardalan (Dirtybird), Sid Wilson (Slipknot), The Juan MacLean, Dan Deacon, Tommie Sunshine, Paul Johnson, Frankie Bones, DJ Hyperactive, Harry Romero, Mighty Mouse, Woody McBride, Terry Mullan, and many more.

Growing up surrounded by many musical influences Mark Fahey found music and sound gave some of the most intense pleasures in life. In his late teens he mastered the art of the turntable. At age 20 he started making a living filling dance floors in clubs, discos,  and events in California, which earned him the name California Disco Legend Mark Fahey later in life. He started producing a limited amount of original music in 1996 - 1998 using it in his personal library at events. As a youth, having  been 'programed' by his Father’s eclectic taste for rare rhythm heavy music, it was instantly easy for him to interpret the ever changing genres of music into crowd pleasing aural journeys even early in his DJ career, Mark says “ you have to get into the dancer’s head” -

Most of the playlists that I’ve created on SoundCloud are either remixes or original versions of tracks that I have always found push at the musical edge of the time period recorded in.
Contemporary styles mixed with classics in an eclectic stew.

I post limited original work here, many tracks are just part of the musical phases that I seem to always go through and if you like any of it cool.
I believe if the day ever comes that I stick with one trend or genre, that is the day I will musically die.
