"So I took advantage of this opportunity to deliver one of my most club-oriented podcasts. Well, all my podcasts are club-oriented, but I wanted to get as close as possible to the energy I like to give off in the club by recording from home.
I always like to go through different emotions, whether it's via progressive house which, for me, lays the foundations for a set, hardhouse which I use almost every time, in the middle of the set for its energy, and those communicative voice samples, and trance which I leave to wait for the dose of melancholy. Of course, this order is never definitive, and depending on the audience, even if the trance is at the heart of my artistic approach, I like to create frustration, having people wait for it to arrive by leaving a few bits and pieces during the set!
In a podcast, unlike a live show, it's me who completely chooses the order, and I hope that people will understand this when they listen at home."

 131bpm: "Constantly evolving musically, he is making a name for himself as a DJ and producer known for his signature booty boppin’ and back breaking rhythms. Influenced by various electronic music sub-genres like vocal house, Detroit classic electro-breaks, 90s progressive and Latin music, his sets are always sweaty and sexy, scattered with catchy basslines, nasty vocals and bouncy percussions. 131bpm: „It's always hard for me to chose a specific record or artist since I'm constantly digging for new music, but I've recently been playing "I Want You Back" by X-Press 2 a lot. It's such a sexy track, starting very emotionally and mysterious, with very sultry vocals, and progressing more and more into someting tribal and ecstatic.“

About you:  Biiiird is a Bremen-based, freshly hatched DJ. Her selection and mixing is driven by the focus on vinyl and the love for housy oldschool sounds in all its different shapes. Next to being attracted by the little imperfections and frictions that, to some extent, can be part of playing records, Biiiird wants to share music in an undogmatic and relieving way 2 make u feel good.


A track/record of your choice that means a lot to you and, if you feel like sharing, why: East 17 - Hold My Body Tight (Danny Tenaglia’s Heavy Vocal Mix), cause when it fell into my life last summer I already associated it with the buttercup series. Looking back from today it almost feels a bit magical that it's actually on it now. It was also one of my key motivations to start collecting vinyl, cause I could not find a propper digital version. As this is my first mix ever, it feels good to have it by my side.
