We continue uncovering awesome selectors and our next guest is Mārtiņš Bergmanis (@cliche-biocodes) a veteran of LV electronic music scene in its truest sense. Starting in the 90s as Fee.nix-z in the Underground Mailing List/andrews.lv virtual community of producers, DJs and dance music afficionados, he - together with comrades in arms DJ Brain and Melnizz - went on to make drum'n'bass tracks of unparallel quality and subsequently form Bio.Codes crew which organized an unforgettable series of seminal drum'n'bass raves on the verge of the centuries across Latvia. In the 00s, launched his Cliché alias to produce slower and moodier music, and stuck to this name since when DJing and hosting the show BIO.RITMI on Radio Naba (along with DJ Brain again), focusing on wide spectre of Bass music. The radio show was on air for almost two decades (!) and only closed in the end of 2020.

Taking this long history of producing, spinning and listening, it’s not surprising to expect a Biitcast of the highest quality and high-octane energy. And here it is – a blend of Bassy, FWD-thinking techno, UK hardcore, Jungle vibes and everything in-between to shake the dust from your speakers and test the flexibility of your joints as you inevitably groove around your room!

Where shall one even begin to introduce Ksenia Kamikaza? DJ, producer, promoter, radio-host, label owner, finally - without saying - an avid music lover and partygoer... Although known to many as a "techno queen of Latvia" (even after relocation to Tbilisi/Georgia), this tag is not exactly accurate as Ksenia's musical tastes have always been wide enough to encompass musics way beyond the dancefloor - don't forget the radio show Intelligent Beats she's been hosting yet in the far 2003...

Thus the vinyl-only mix Ksenia has recorded specially for Biit Me Riga should not come as a surpise; as cinematic ambient, leftfield, downtempo are as close to Ksenia's heart as block rocking 4x4 beats. So, untie your dancing shoes, sit back and prepare for a different, but not less effectively transporting kind of trip...
