Kai Alcé is a boundary-transcending artist who channels his diverse experiences into fostering an inclusive musical environment. Born in New York, he was influenced early on by soca, Caribbean rhythms, and jazz. Moving to Detroit in 1980, he witnessed the birth of techno and worked at the iconic Music Institute nightclub. Relocating to Atlanta, Kai brought authentic house and techno to the city, including a decade-long residency at MJQ. His first production, ‘The Kaizer EP,’ was released in 2002, followed by the founding of the House In The Park event and his label NDATL in 2008, showcasing artists like Larry Heard, Theo Parrish, and Mike Huckaby.

...and so...her and i establish trust and boundaries. and thats why i have never really had any issues with her.  this is my experience. dont compare yours to mine. just do better for yourself.

This was a special one for me. Losing both parents a year apart has been rough. I took time off from playing music but coming back up for air with another opportunity to close out Sunset Campout--the best party in the world--with friends and family meant everything to me. Feels appropriate to post this one on Thanksgiving as I couldn't be more grateful to have all you nice people in my life. As always, a huge thank you to Solar and Galen for having me back and all of the Campout team for making it happen. I spent years pulling tunes for this one so I hope you enjoy listening as much a I enjoyed making it.
