Bilan is a musician and composer from Cape Verde. He plays and composes the traditional music of Cape Verde, and various musical styles created and developed by himself troughout a fusion of various styles that distinguishes him as an artist of great creativity and performance .
Bilan has his own musical identity and strark.He has ,like other musicians of the new wave of music of Cape Verde , a cosmopolitan and urban  music style. The inner language which is natural in the composition of his  music incorporates a vision without boundaries.He his also inspired by the urban living, the citys and the nostalgia of the islands of Morabeza.
