This was a set played at this art space called NoNation in Chicago. I tried to distill some of my latest influences, continuing the work of bridging what I hear here and what I hear back home in Brazil. Like the tags say, it's pretty eclectic like most of my mixes, although this one is pretty house-y (cause I know what the girls at NoNation love to hear).

Friendsgiving Set @ NoNation '23

This is the first of a three-part series of sets I did for '24 New Years Eve! Part 1 is very dance-heavy, bass-heavy and faster BPM than the others. For context, my friends from Semi-Hard (DJs Juan aka Grizzly, GayBash...) + friends from NoNation (independent art space in Chicago) threw this party last minute. It was very cute and intimate, and these sets reflect that.

Putopia NYE 2024 - Part 1

The second set I made at the Putopia 2024 NYE was more open format. I started with slower BPMs, played with some funk rasteirinha, dancehall, reggaeton, dembow... then progressed to house as we reached the after hours.

Putopia NYE 2024 - Part 2

This is the 3rd and last set I made at the '24 Putopia NYE. This was basically the sunrise set, with completely different vibes from the rest. I focused on house, more vintage tracks (disco, 90s house...), downtempo. A little crunchier for us to unwind after a long, long night.

Putopia NYE 2024 - Part 3

This is an open format mix for the dancefloor, with lots of latin house, some baile funk, reggaeton and guaracha. Near the end we get a little break with some pisadinha and brega. I recorded this mix as I prepared for Hoepocalypse, which happened on January 6th 2024. Sadly, I wasn't able to finish my set at that party, so I decided to share this recording as a very late birthday gift to my friends Lynneah and Slayleen. Enjoy!

Beach, afters of the afters at 7am, abstract but still heated and solar, psychedelic, comforting, hypnotic, sexual... Maybe a little pretentious too. Inspired by Hollywood Beach in Chicago.

This is a recording of my Smartbar debut on June 27th, 2024. The occasion was Pride weekend and Agua de Rosas' own debuting party "Espiral". At this time, I also debuted my first 11 recorded edits, mastered by fellow Putopia collective member Juan Grizzly.

I tried to showcase, among other things, parts of the history of baile funk, some of its female and Queer names, and different regional variations through mashups.

Espiral Pride '24 Mix

My attempt at a downtempo-ish live set. Played with slowing down faster house tracks and with mixing Brazilian unquantized music... All for this lounge moment at a friend's bday. Shout out to Aza and to all the residents of NoNation, Chicago. :)
