[BIO]:
Reading a dancefloor is not a science, but knowing how to make the audience enjoy every minute is an art Anika Kunst puts into practice session after session. She has spent more than twenty years perfecting her intuition, technique and buildiing up a vinyl collection which oscillates between timeless techno and the most select house, making the most of the nuances that exist between said genres and all their sub-genres have to offer. Maybe you remember some of her emblematic vinyl-only ‘All Night Long’ sessions or maybe you saw her perform in London, Berlin, Brussels or during her time in Latin America. She might have made her mark on one of your idyllic summer nights in Ibiza or perhaps you heard her at a festival or an distinguishing club in Barcelona at her ‘Selectors’ night; always in constant evolution, with all possibilities still open for exploration. You may be familiar with her well-respected label, Chapter Records, founded in 2014. You may have even played or listened to one of her releases yourself, or perhaps heard some of her tracks in one of Dave Clarke’s sessions. You might have also already discovered her latest work in the studio, such as her ‘Different Approach’ EP on RSPX (Rekids Special Project) or her latest releases on Symbolism, Ben Sims' label. It is never too late to make new descoveries, those which will never be forgotten. You may not know Chapter Records or Selectors, or even Anika Kunst herself but in time and space, the devotion many of us feel for the clubbing scene streghtens our bond and binds us to each other, unyielding as we move together.

We start with 'Schunkelhouse' Something between Deep, Melodic and Euphoric House Music. I started my trip with this kinda tunes back in 2014 and House Music was always a part of me till today. The Set contains one of my first House Songs i produced called 'Coming Home'. Since i do Downtempo music most of the time i'm always curious about other genres.

This week I'm presentig you Young & Talented Dj&Producer YUADA from Japan, based in Amsterdam.

Born in Osaka Japan, she started playing piano at the age of 3. She also started to learn how to paint and how to make drawings as well at that same age. In 2011 she moved to N.Y for art school. At this time YUADA also started to use ableton live to produce her own electronic music. She discovered her interest for techno music. Following her success in music production, she traveled a lot around the world to expand her career opportunities and started DJ-ing in 2014
in Los Angles. She had a busy schedule performing as a DJ and became a resident DJ. Gathering more and more attention, sometimes being booked in 3 different venues in a single day, still she was able to keep on producing her own tracks and release them regularly. In 2019 to follow her interest for the true Techno music she decided to moved to Europe and chose to get based in Amsterdam.
She quickly attracted the interest of some clubs and became a resident DJ of TechnoTuesday at Melkweg in Amsterdam.
Nowadays her nights are spent playing gigs anywhere between Europe, Asia and America. While many of her days are spent in the studio where she dreams up new music.
The future looks bright for YUADA.
