I was originally inspired to start writing this song a while back upon the Mashrou3 Leila Byblos Festival concert being cancelled due to some bullshit protests by religious institutions in Lebanon.

3eefo Samena translates in a literal sense to "leave our sky". In other words, it means "get off my cloud".

I have nothing but love for anyone who wants to build a better world, doing their best, grinding through this daily struggle. Religious or not.

What I have an issue with is religious institutions telling people how they should live, what they should or shouldn't do, and intruding on peoples' lives.

With the rise of religious currents of all kinds in the Middle East region, this unfinished track came to mind and I decided to finish it and release it.

Very happy with how it turned out, specially that it has been a minute since I put new music out.
