Bill is the son of Canadian television writer-producer John Aylesworth (Hee Haw, The Sonny & Cher Show, The Judy Garland Show, Front Page Challenge)and grandson of Ray Eberle (The Glenn Miller Orchestra). His stepfather Lenny Stogel managed Tommy James & The Shondells, The Cowsills, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, and produced the rock music festivals California Jam, Cal Jam 2, and Canada Jam. He started his career in audio/video sales. Bill was also an actor and musician, fronting many bands and playing or recording with members of Flashback, Earth Wind & Fire, The Grass Roots, Tyranny, Billy Cowsill, Frances Plante-Scott, Rose Royce, Buffalo Springfield Revisited, and more. He has also appeared in numerous film & television programs as an actor.
