At the Well

Here I vocalise the ancient proto-Germanic rune names of the Elder Futhark, while giving the translations of those names which work for me. I also indicate their numbers and the groups they are in, called, 'eights'. I then reverse the runes to give inverted meanings, some of which are quite dark. To avoid psychic trauma, I repeat the runes in the regular direction at the same time to pacify any demons.

Fascination

A one off, one take. 
But you know when the speaker sizzles and pops, when the equipment buzzes and rattles and the amplifier top is hot enough to  boil an egg, that something is happening.

Inspired by listening to the late Leslie West. Guitar used, cheap Epiphone SG Special with bolt on neck. Customised: Grover machine heads installed; both pick ups removed, neck pick up route left open [a la Leslie West] and Dan Armstrong coil split humbucker pick up installed at bridge [see cover pic]. Selector switch modified: up = spilt coil, centre = humbucker, bottom = off [kill switch].
Brass slide used on first half of the track - I swop this, while playing, for a glass bottleneck for the latter part of the track.

This Custom Shop SG came to me very cheap because the headstock was broken. I spent the last two weeks stripping it down and reparing it. Put it back together yeasterday and played some bottleneck on it. I put her through two delay units, tiddling the knobs as I played!
