Bill Dwyer Band decided at the very end of a lengthy rehearsal to give this Springsteen classic a run and we recorded it on an iphone to boot. We def had fun with it. Absolutely LOVE The Boss :-)

Thanks to Charles Corley for tickling the ivory on a beauty of a piano from 1915 & on a vintage Wurlitzer organ thats low in the mix. Endless thanks to Mr. Doug Batchelder for the use of said keys & for his blistering guitar work in the middle (Tele thru a '68 Plexi) & for engineering this. The intro track to my next release ('Demos After Sundown'). Found a cool keyboard in the trash in Mission Hill (was in pretty nice condition, couldn't believe it!). Brought it back to my apt in Allston/Brighton. Sat down and did this. I def wanna start playing more piano, SO fun! But gotta take lessons though, I lucked out with this cut, must've been a full moon or something ;-)  

Afternoon Tea

I experimented with various keyboards, guitars/ guitar effects, etc and used a DVD player to overdub in my "lead singer" in real-time while listening to the playback of the music from my porta-studio and watching the "movie". From several years ago.  People have described this piece as being "scary" and "macabre". My favorite line of lyrics: "I didn't write the music"  ;-)

I Really Like Your Stare (early LIVE rehearsal room version)

This a piece thats been on the back-burner for a lil bit. I tracked everything on an old mini-disc 8track porta-studio. Adding the vocal lines soon. Very indie-prog-rock-trance-trip vibe. Was listening to a lot of My Bloody Valentine at the time. Will be on an upcoming release of old demos soon when finished.

Another demo I did on my old Yamaha MD8 Mini-disc porta-studio. Played all tracks. Jon Taft helped me out cleaning it up as best as possible from the source original.
