I Want Nothing

The first serious band I played with in college was called Liquid State, and Justin Burmeister was the musical mastermind behind it. He had all of the knowledge and theory and understanding that I could hardly keep up with at the time, but he also had the patience to teach me, and was humble enough to learn from me. The world lost a great one when Justin passed away on November 4th, 2020. This is a stripped down version of a song he wrote that we rocked the hell out of in Liquid State, and recording it for Justin seemed like the only proper way to say goodbye.
