super interested in this guy right, now, im thinking its a really cool thing to be getting into this: improvising a kind of chord melodyish thinglike he does but its his own.  its sort of like hes kind of this amalgam between classical guitar repertoire and improvising as a soloist, and theres all this rock and indy sensibility in there too.  i feel like he belongs with ralph towner in doing this unique really cool thing.  guy is a genius, im nothing...but practice makes perfect. the guitars out of tune i think

i havent done enough playing with records. im starting to appreciate how much this could teach me.  you have to truly be melodic.  i like how i feel i can hear some paolo fresu influence starting to hopefully come through.

i probably wasnt really horn section like enough.  i was hitting it nice and soft tho, i think i really blow too hard with the harmon.  and the articulation kind is better here than usual. note to self: cleaner conscious? articulation, and a nice soft sound with the mute, try not to make it growl so much...that can be a dramatic effect if you dont waste it
