Expanding upon the sprawling Sci-Fi landscape that has its origins in the highly acclaimed ‘Colossus’ EP on Bad Taste Recordings, the ‘Colonize’ EP takes things to an entirely new level. 
Incredible visual artwork from Marvel artist Enis Čišić and resident Eatbrain designer László Tringli, is threaded through with the continuation of the operatic space narrative tying the tracks together into a concept as epic as music itself.

Title track ‘COLONIZE’ lures listeners into Billain’s otherworldly realm with 2 perfectly balanced sweeping chords, instantly transporting them to a faraway planet. Breaking the calm, an unmistakable Billain bassline erupts, before breaking down into a deliciously dynamic and scattered build-up injected with pure nervous anticipation. It’s fair to say that Deformer and FFF are the undisputed kings of Dutch Hardcore Jungle. Not only are they pioneers making noise since the early days, but they never stopped putting out records! The strange thing is though, that both artists are based in the same city and shared many stages for years, but it was just recently that that they joined forces on record. With PRSPCT’s incredible ’15 year anniversary’ release, Deformer and FFF delivered the retro future classic ‘20th Century Jungle’. After receiving raving reviews and the track destroying parties worldwide, both artists decided to produce an e.p. cleverly titled: ‘deFFFormer’. The result? A monstrous record that will throw you right back to the roots of the deepest jungle!

The A side kicks off with two amen heavy tracks, classic Jungle with an upgrade. B1 holds a huge surprise as this breakbeat track features the vocals of Shaydie (of DJ Paul Elstak fame). Her first appearance in years! This is a contemporary nineties anthem for sure! B2 turns dancehall into deathhall as long time Deformer collaborator Scapu-Lox (Voodoom) lays down his chanting vocals to eventually make the track rinse out in breakbeat mayhem.

If you witnessed the warehouse raves in the 90’s then this will definitely bring out the over-energetic kid in you. If your parents produced you at a later time, then this is your chance to experience the rave heydays. Either way, you will lose your mind!
