Somehow Someway is the sixth solo album release of the Greek Beatmaker Billa Qause.
The album is inspired by the 90s Hip-Hop culture. A time when the Hip-Hop genre was established in the music scene and many groups are still known and dear to the younger generations. The LP is distinguished by rhythmical samples, rap punchlines from the Golden Era, spiced up with some old school scratching.
For the creation of this album, Billa Qause experimented with samples from Soul and Jazz vinyl records. This time, he combined his characteristic old school - MPC made - heavy drums with more electronic and ambient sounds. He managed to make this album to sound somehow as a classic album from 90s and in someway as an album that is continuously developing day after day without changing its character and vibe.
The “Somehow Someway” is an instrumental Hip-Hop / Downtempo album and features the Greek Beatmakers Kill Emil and Krus who contributed in “Beats And Pieces”, “All About Practice” and “Light My World”.

It's been seven years since I dropped a Sequence collection and I'm literally "back in the room" with another one and a whole load of other things for 2020. This time S3.0 features 17 experimental productions that are much more Jazz based compared to the mixture of styles on the previous two volumes. The tracks are a mix of beats that were either made for certain artists who never came through, some were the result of sample challenges, as you know I love to do them at times. Others are either drafts I finally did arrangements for, or they're simply brand spanking new beats and loops made while testing out equipment or just jamming in the ‘Audio Dojo’.

Note: This is a beat tape. I'm slowly working on the official album and a few other collaborative bits which will all unfold in 2020.

Billa Qause, born and raised in Athens, is part of the underground electronic scene since 2004. 
Influenced by hip hop, soul and jazz he uses elements of those to create his own music. 
Instrumental hip hop, trip hop and downtempo tunes are being cooked alongside mystical melodies, ethereal voices and soulful chords all tied up with smooth basslines and steady rhythm sections.
Each live show is like a journey. Using his machines as a vehicle, the samples as fuel and the rhythm as a compass he manages to form an enigmatic and tempting soundscape. 
Since 2009 he has released five personal albums ( E-Chop, Jazzova, Zentai Teki ni, Rest in Beats, Zentai Teki Ni the EP) 
Over the years he shared the stage with artists like Dj Krush, The Herbaliser, Ltj Bukem, Wax Tailor, Guts, Panda Dub, Gramatik amongst others.
